After many years of watching other people's retail dive shops open and close, we decided to minimize the retail trade and concentrate on the training and travel portion of the dive industry.  In October 1993 we opened Inland Scuba Center.

We love to teach!  Whether it's sitting around a kitchen table, in a formal classroom, or using computer based training across the Internet we make the un-fun part of learning to dive fun.  When we hit the water on a  San Carlos trip our love of teaching and diving really come together. Seeing the look in the eyes of a ten or sixty year old when they first interact with aquatic life reminds us each time why we teach diving.  Check out our Training link for more information on classes.

November 1996 saw the next phase of Inland Scuba Center's growth with the launching, in San Carlos Mexico, of the Sailing Vessel (SV) Her Diamond Ring.  With our own boat we offer an intimate setting for two to four divers at a reasonable price without the hassle of staying in a local hotel.  For open water dives Inland Scuba Center charters boats from Gary's Dive Shop in San Carlos.

For those bringing families or just not wanting to "rough it" on our sail boat Inland Scuba Center has special contract rates with the Marina Terra Hotel and Resort located at Marina San Carlos.

The real fun of diving is DIVING!  The Sea of Cortez never ceases to amaze us with its variety of aquatic life.

Throughout the rest of the world we offer Adventure Travel to any place we can get air, get wet, and have fun.

In order to better serve our travelers by protecting their Adventure Travel investment in 2000 Inland Scuba Center obtained a license from the state of Arizona to sell Trip Insurance.  This service is available to any traveler whether they book their adventure through Inland Scuba Center or not.

In 2002 we expand our small retail presents to include Marine Parts and Accessories.  We also changed our legal business name to Inland Scuba & Marine Center but, we still use Inland Scuba Center in much of our advertising because I like the acronym ISC.

Medical problems in 2004 and 2005 caused us to almost shut down but, WE ARE BACK!

In 2006 Inland Scuba teamed with the City of Sierra Vista Parks & Leisure Services to start Dive The Cove.  That year we also became a division of G&W Enterprises LLC.

In 2007 the Department of the Army Family and Moral, Welfare and Recreation Command (MWR) awarded to Inland Scuba Center a contract designating us as the exclusive provider of Open Water Diver training on Fort Huachuca.

Now Inland Scuba Center is truly how Cochise County learns to dive.
