COURSE STANDARDS AND OVERVIEW

The Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest recreational diver rating in the PADI program, and denotes superior achievement and proficiency.

CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

To achieve the Master Scuba Diver rating an individual must

1.  Be at least 12 years old.

2.  Be certified as a PADI (Junior) Advanced Open Water Diver (or a certification from another training agency).

3.  Be certified as a PADI (Junior) Rescue Diver (or a certification from another training agency).

3.  Have earned at least 5 PADI Specialties.

4.  Show proof of 50 logged dives.
